Individual Reiki sessions offered with care, consent, and nervous-system support

About Trauma-Informed Reiki

Trauma-Informed Reiki are individual Reiki sessions offered in a grounded, consent-centered way.

These sessions are designed for people who are seeking gentle, supportive care for their nervous system and energy.

The focus is on safety, choice, and presence, rather than fixing or forcing change.

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that supports nervous system regulation and deep rest.

Sessions are quiet and spacious, with light touch or hands-off support, and can be offered either in person or at a distance. Reiki does not require effort, belief, or participation beyond what feels comfortable for you.

What Trauma-Informed Means Here

In these sessions:

  • Consent and choice are always prioritized

  • You are welcome to speak, rest quietly, or ask for pauses

  • Sessions are adapted to your comfort and capacity

  • Nothing is required of you beyond what feels supportive

You are never expected to share personal stories or explain your experience.

What to Expect in a Session

Each Reiki session offers a calm, contained space for rest and integration.

Sessions may include:

  • Gentle Reiki energy work

  • Grounding and orientation support

  • Time is set aside at the end of the session for questions, reflection or sharing, if you’d like.

Many people seek Reiki as support during periods of stress, overwhelm, emotional exhaustion, or recovery from trauma. Sessions are held gently and spaciously, with no pressure to talk or process unless you choose.

Reiki can be experienced in many ways. Some people notice deep relaxation, others subtle shifts, and some simply experience a sense of steadiness. All experiences are valid.

In-Person and Distant Reiki Sessions

Trauma-Informed Reiki sessions are available in both in-person and distant formats. You’re welcome to choose the option that feels most supportive and accessible for you.

In-Person Reiki

In-person sessions are held in a quiet, grounded therapeutic space designed to support comfort, privacy, and a sense of safety.

During an in-person session:

  • You remain fully clothed and comfortably supported

  • Touch is always discussed beforehand and is optional

  • You may choose hands-on, hands-off, or a combination

  • You are welcome to request pauses or adjustments at any time

Your comfort, consent, and sense of safety guide the session.

Distant Reiki

Distant Reiki sessions are offered for those who prefer to receive from their own space or are unable to attend in person.

In a distant session:

  • You receive Reiki at an agreed-upon time

  • You’re welcome to rest, go about your day, or simply notice what arises

  • There is no need to prepare or do anything specific

  • A brief follow-up check-in is included, with space to share or simply ask questions if you choose

Many people find distant sessions supportive, gentle, and accessible, especially when prioritizing nervous-system regulation.

Choosing What’s Right for You

There is no “better” option between in-person and distant Reiki. Both are offered with the same care, intention, and trauma-informed approach.

If you’re unsure which format feels right, you’re welcome to choose what feels least effortful, or reach out with questions before scheduling.
